We often do not consider how what happens at the state government affects the people and missions we serve. State government makes critical funding decisions on a wide-range of issues important to Arkansans including: EBT (food stamps), conservation of wild lands, healthcare, preservation of historical places, roads, public education, promotion of local artists, prisons, and economic development, just to name a few.
In this three-hour workshop, you will learn about the state tax and budget issues affecting Arkansans and learn about the state budget process.
