Act

Over the past decade, nonprofit state associations have grown in both number and in strength providing a platform for members to collectively influence local, state and federal public policy that affects nonprofits and the work they do. Arkansas Nonprofit Alliance is proud to serve as a locus for that collective voice in Arkansas. Arkansas Nonprofit Alliance:

  • Partners with the National Council of Nonprofits and our sister associations to impact the conversation on issues such as government contracting, sequestration and the charitable giving tax incentive.
  • Represents the Arkansas nonprofit sector in Washington, DC and in Little Rock by following legislation impacting the sector.
  • Provides members with regular advocacy alerts, National Council of Nonprofits’ Nonprofit Advocacy Matters, and other alerts as needed on specific legislation as it arises.
  • Serves as part of a coalition of nonprofit advocacy groups to support Arkansas Advocacy & Organizing Month in October and raise awareness about the impact of advocacy and organizing for change in our state.
